AVI Foundation is a collective of intellectual, highly spirited, and enthusiastic beings of this planet who are working towards a better future. The foundation is spearheaded by a dynamic young Doctor from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India - Dr. Jerryl Banait. This foundation is expanding worldwide with its goal to bring change to society and work for a better future. Dr. Banait's family has been working in the field of social work for the past 30 years ranging from Wildlife, Environment, and Medical Aid to the needy. AVI Foundation helps to be a platform for other like-minded individuals to get associated with the cause and work hand in hand. This foundation becomes the means to voice your opinions for a collective good. AVI Foundation works in various fields like Wildlife, protecting Schedule 1 wild animals like tigers, leopards, birds, reptiles, etc. These also involve other wild species of animals. AVI also helps in protecting their migratory corridors. Dr. Jerryl Banait who is the Chairman of the foundation has been filing multiple Public Interest Litigations in the Hon'ble High Court and the Hon'ble Supreme Court for the voiceless animals and also the people who need help. AVI Foundation has also donated Fiber Glass Saucer-shaped water tanks to quench the thirst of wild animals. These water tanks are provided inside the forest. AVI Foundation has adopted multiple villages and families who are living on the fringes of the forests. AVI provides them with vaccinations and also medicines with a stock that can sustain them for almost 4 months.
